This magnificent region, unique and diverse, features the Sierra Nevada Mountains with Mt. Whitney being the highest peak in the contiguous United States. The area is a geographical wonder with deep valleys, high peaks, blue skies, sparkling, clear lakes and creeks and sprawling meadows where flora and fauna abound.

Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountain Range
The Sierra Nevada stretches approximately 450 miles from the Tehachapi Mountains on the south to Lassen National Park on the north. Sequoia, Kings Canyon and Yosemite National Parks are popular tourist attractions and feature some of the most beautiful terrain on Earth. Lake Tahoe’s beauty is breathtaking and is truly the region’s “crowning jewel”. Death Valley National Park, the lowest point in the U.S., lies just to the east of the Sierra Nevada. All four seasons are celebrated here with abundant snowfall in winter, an array of flowers and thawing creeks in spring, cool days and the crimson colors of fall, and summer with its endless possibilities for recreation and enjoyment.
